Here opens the account of a visionary initiation through Acacia Magia, an entheogenic plant of revelation. The narrator encounters two guides — the man with the spirit of the jay, messenger of the threshold, and Maa, guardian of revealed knowledge. Through their transmissions the text is inscribed, through their visions the watercolors blaze forth, and from this double revelation MAT is born, led toward the state where painting and traveling become an inner law
